In case you're not on Facebook, here's what we did last weekend! It's hard to believe our little guy is already one-year-old. So much has happened since his birth; it seems like we are now in a completely different world!
Now that Jack is officially one, I am supposed to take night call in the hospital. Last night was the first one, and we survived as a family. So did the patients!
First I made a dinosaur cake and cupcakes.
Then Tim used my leftover cake pieces to make his own dinosaur.
Then lots of kids came over and played.
We played a game to see what Jack will be when he grows up. He could choose among a stethoscope, a Bible, a pen, and money. First he went for the Bible!
Then the pen.
Then the stethoscope. Never the money.
Then it was time for his first taste of sugar!
He downed it just like all other foods.
We mistakenly tried to take our family photo after the party when we were all tired.
People were very generous, and now Jack has even more toys!
To see the cake eating and a view around the room of many of our new friends, watch the video.
